Mark grew up in Roanoke, Virginia and graduated from Mars Hill University. He received a Master of Divinity degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC. He and his wife Renae have four children and six grandchildren. He enjoys playing golf, traveling, and eating out.
Mark served on the pastoral staff of Salem Baptist for eleven years before retiring in 2016. He recently re-joined the staff as Interim Administrative Director to handle daily administration of the church office and to coordinate the employees and volunteers of the church.
He loves working with others to fulfill the mission of Salem Baptist and reach others for Christ.
